Coach Jonathan Gardner graduated high school from George Washington Carver High School in Montgomery. After graduating high school, he attended Wallace Community College in Selma (WCCS) on a full basketball scholarship receiving an associate degree in Early Childhood Education in 1997. In 2001, Coach Gardner graduated from Miles College in Birmingham with B.S. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.

Coach Gardner is in his 22nd year of teaching 3rd grade and 10th year at Reeltown Elementary. Coach Gardner is entering his 8th year as the Head Boys’ Basketball Coach and 9th year as an assistant varsity football coach at Reeltown High School.

Coach Gardner is married to Tequilla Freeman Gardner. They have three children: Jaeda, Londyn, and Gavin.
